I was playing a game with a friend yesterday as a machine empire and found a race of primitives, I decided that they would be usefull to boost my research by a little and took over their planet, biggest mistake ever. Not even 30 years later they have revolted and spawned a fleet of 7K power, in comparison to my fleet of 840~ power and less than 100 fleet capacity.
I heard that they usually spawn with a fleet around 80% of your fleet capacity but that seems wrong, not to mention that later on during another attack from them they I managed to kill their 9K fleet and when it appeared again it had a fleet of 18K. It doubled in size and almost wiped me out, I had to become a vassal to not have my capital world taken. Not to mention that later on during the game they were fighting my overlord and when they lost their fleet jumped to 20K when it respawned. How can that happen?? This has to be the worst mechanic in the game and makes no fucking sense. How are you supposed to defeat an empire that every time you kill their fleet it doubles the size of it?? Not to mention how they keep that fleet when they only have 4 systems and 1 planet. I have seem people playing tall with a single planet but they could not keep a fleet of 20K not even 100 years into the game.
Now with my overlord demanding 30% of my income and me being unable to negotiate that is just making it impossible for me to defeat those guys. The more fleets I build the stronger their fleet become, and when my overlord destroy their fleets they just double in size again. I may have to abandon the game at this rate.

1.1. The State of New York shall develop and implement targeted initiatives to promote Upstate New York as an attractive destination for business tourism and relocation.
1.2. The Department of Economic Development, in collaboration with regional economic development councils and local stakeholders, shall design marketing campaigns highlighting the advantages of Upstate New York, including its business-friendly environment, skilled workforce, and quality of life.
1.3. The State shall actively engage with national and international business organizations, chambers of commerce, and industry associations to promote the benefits of establishing businesses in Upstate New York.
SECTION 2: TAX INCENTIVES FOR RELOCATION
2.1. Eligible businesses that relocate their operations to Upstate New York shall be provided with tax incentives and cuts to encourage investment and job creation in the region.
2.2. The Department of Taxation and Finance, in consultation with the Department of Economic Development, shall identify specific tax relief measures and incentives that can be offered to relocating businesses, with a focus on reducing corporate taxes and providing exemptions or credits for qualifying expenditures.
2.3. The State shall establish a transparent and streamlined process for businesses to apply for and access the tax incentives, ensuring clarity and efficiency in the evaluation and approval procedures.
SECTION 3: INCREASED CAPITAL VENTURE INJECTION
3.1. The State of New York shall increase capital venture injection for businesses that choose to relocate and establish operations in Upstate New York.
3.2. The Empire State Development Corporation, in collaboration with financial institutions and venture capital firms, shall establish programs and funding mechanisms to provide access to capital for qualifying businesses, particularly startups and small to medium-sized enterprises.
3.3. The State shall actively seek partnerships and collaborations with private investors, foundations, and other funding sources to leverage additional resources and maximize the capital venture injection available to relocating businesses.
SECTION 4: BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES
4.1. The State of New York shall provide comprehensive business support services to assist relocating businesses in navigating the transition and establishing successful operations in Upstate New York.
4.2. The Department of Economic Development shall establish a dedicated unit within their organization to offer personalized assistance, guidance, and information on available resources, incentives, and regulatory requirements for relocating businesses.
4.3. The State shall facilitate networking opportunities and collaboration platforms, connecting relocating businesses with local industry leaders, academic institutions, and research centers to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and potential partnerships.
SECTION 5: MONITORING AND REPORTING
5.1. The Department of Economic Development shall monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the business tourism promotion initiatives, tax incentives, and capital venture injection programs.
5.2. Regular reports shall be provided to the Governor's Office, the Department of Taxation and Finance, and relevant oversight bodies, analyzing the outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in attracting businesses to Upstate New York.
5.3. Based on the evaluation and monitoring results, necessary adjustments and refinements shall be made to ensure the optimal utilization of resources and the achievement of desired outcomes.
SECTION 6: EFFECTIVE DATE

I recently graduated from a top MBA programme achieving the Dean’s List and a few other awards.
Here are my core learnings on how to achieve this:

Breaking these down one by one.
Transparency: I was open on day one of my programme that I had a learning difficulty when one of our lecturers asked about imposter syndrome. Showing that vulnerability early on worked heavily in my favour. I’m also pretty friendly and an extrovert - so I spoke with a lot of the cohort after this and started to quickly build relationships based around trust.
Collaboration: because of my learning difficulty I’m a slow reader - even though I’m precise and have good understanding / recall. Therefore I rallied a group of MBAs to note all of the readings that we had for each module. I created the structure (see below) and held control of the final docs, so if people were trying to free load they couldn’t access them. The collaboration meant I only had to read 2-3 articles and 2-3 chapters per module, yet had all of the readings and references for every article / book which I could use in my essays / for exams.
Structure: I structured a very specific noting schedule for articles / books. This was in a word template and included the title; the reference (both in text and full reference) and the author. Then in the main bulk of the template I had the key takeaways from the reading, analysis, key quotes and interpretation of these quotes. By exception there was a detailed summary notes which people could do if they found it useful.
Read around: because I wasn’t doing much of the reading I would then listen to an audio book that was relevant but not included / was recommended but not required. This gave me an edge over everyone else in my content.
Speak to lecturers: I would always speak to my lecturer before the assignment and get an idea of what they were looking for. In the class I would always be the one to ask around the assignment and clearly note what the lecturer said in terms of tips / structure. If I had an idea about what I would write I would float this with the lecturer before and see if they liked it / whether I should change.
Learn from high achieving class mates: I had some very smart class mates as you all will. I quickly understood who was scoring well and asked them what they were doing. I found that some were being hyper precise on their executive summaries; some were adding lots of references, some wrote very well naturally, and some would dive into a key theory and nail that to get top marks. I took their approaches and made my own. To keep it fresh I updated my styles for each essay.
Other things I did: use mnemonics, work smart not hard, be someone who adds value to your peer group (I would download and share all of the files for each module), enjoy yourself.

Just sharing my HT journey will you all. Was on and off getting a transplant mentally past few years and then an opportunity came up before I fly to Canada in August, which meant at least 2 months healing at home. Didnt have to go to turkey either which was a massive plus.
Feeling good. Day 2 & 3 came with alot of swelling (looked unrecognisable) but not much pain. Got my hands on some prednisone 5mg on day 3 which I think helped reduce it. Drink plenty of water! Aftercare instructs me to spray with supplied saline every 30mins day of surgery and every hour day 1+.
First wash was day 3 with supplied shampoo with gentle pats on recipient area. Experienced itching day 2-4 so I used antihistamine’s.
Sleeping upright since with neck pillow was difficult at first but not to bad anymore. Cant wait to sleep on my side again.

I always had dry skin on my cheeks and pretty oily skin on my forehead. Since I recently started using adapalen my cheeks are never satisfied, feel tight and look dull. The problem is that heavier moisturizers still break me out. My current workaround is using very light moisturizers and layering 2-4 layers until my skin feels plump. Still after 3 hours I have to repeat because it never seems to be enough. Because of that I power through a whole bottle of moustruizer in 3 weeks. I already deduced that my skin really loves glycerin, but I never seem to manage to lock in the moisture it provides. I also tried slugging at night, but didn't notice much of a difference as most of the petroleum jelly ended on my pillows. Do you have any tips how I can lock in more moisture without clogging my pores or ingredients to look out for? Thank you in advance!
