This was hours ago. Since then, I’ve taken two showers, and the bleeding hasn’t stopped. Sometimes it ebbs in one area, but I am always bleeding somewhere, and my whole body aches. I don’t know what to do. I want to go to the hospital, but I’m afraid I’ll pass out on the road…

It all started with her. She was perfect. She was everything. I knew it from the moment my eyes fell upon her. I did a double, triple take. Almost crashed my car in the process. The mannequin, so lifelike, just standing on the corner of the street.
What? Some sort of advertisement? I pulled into the parking lot and scrambled out of my car. Thinking back, maybe I was already under its spell even then.
As I approached, people walked to and fro, stepping around it and moving on with their day. Nobody paid it any mind. I couldn’t understand it.
You see, the statue was beautiful.
A tall woman, her silken hair blowing across her nearly bare body. She stared resolutely ahead, right into my eyes…. She captured my gaze, immediately. Cradled me in her vision, stared deep into my soul… saw me… for me. And I could see into her, too. Past her pale exterior, deep into a space of warmth and love and light. The comfort of being held, being known. An eternity of notice and care swept through in the time my breath hitched in my throat.
I blinked before she did. Then, I could breathe again. My vision flowed down her body, following the curve of her breasts, her hips, her thighs and back again, caught in the river of her motionless motion. One hand of hers clutched a ribbon about her, a ribbon that threatened to spill away in the wind and expose all of her.
The other hand reached forward, outstretched, palm up. Fingers extended, just for me.
It made me feel… a lot of things.

Pitying. She needed someone. She needed me.
Angry. How could no one take notice of the magnificent work before them?

The horror film has added another $40 million internationally, bringing its global tally to $116 million.
Michael B. Jordan’s sports drama “Creed III” took third place with $15.3 million from 3,477 venues, down just 44% from the weekend prior. After three weeks of release, the film has generated a stellar $127.7 million. Already, the third “Creed” movie has out-earned its predecessors as the first film ended its run with $109 million and the sequel tapped out with $115 million.
Sony’s prehistoric sci-fi thriller “65” landed at No. 4 with $5.8 million from 3,405 cinemas, a 54% drop from its debut. The film, starring Adam Driver, has grossed $22.4 million to date, which isn’t a great result given the $45 million budget.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” rounded out the top five with $4.1 million from 2,650 theaters in its fifth weekend of release. So far, it has generated $205 million in North America, above the original “Ant-Man” ($180 million) and behind the 2018 sequel “Ant-Man and the Wasp” ($216 million). But with $462 million globally, ticket sales for “Ant-Man 3” are dramatically below the first movie with $519 million and the follow-up with $622 million.

“Shazam: Fury of the Gods” opened to No. 1 in North America, but the Warner Bros. and DC Comics sequel fell short of expectations with its disappointing $30.5 million debut from 4,071 theaters. Heading into the weekend, the film was expected to collect $35 million to $40 million, which already wasn’t all that spectacular since it cost north of $110 million to make and another $100 million to market.
It’s a substantial drop from 2019’s “Shazam,” the first comic book installment starring Zachary Levi’s quirky hero, which opened to $53.5 million and ended its box office run with $140 million domestically and $366 million globally. It’s also one of the worst starts in the DC Cinematic Universe, other than pandemic-era releases like “Wonder Woman 1984” ($16.7 million) and “The Suicide Squad” ($26 million), which both opened simultaneously on HBO Max.
At the international box office, “Shazam 2” added $35 million from 77 markets for a dismal global start of $65.5 million.
“It’s a soft start, there’s no other way to put it,” says Shawn Robbins, chief analyst at BoxOffice Pro. “Comic book films are steadily showing that without an event-level hook, it’s difficult to live up to predecessor performances.”
Reviews and word-of-mouth may not help “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” in the coming weeks. It landed a “B+” CinemaScore, down from the first film’s “A” grade. And it holds a 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, a dramatic decline from the original’s 90% average. David F. Sandberg returned to direct “Fury of the Gods,” which centers on Levi’s Billy Batson and his foster siblings — all of whom transform into superheroes when they say “Shazam!” — as they team up to fight the Daughters of Atlas, who wield a weapon that could destroy the world. Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren co-star in the film.
“Fury of the Gods,” to some degree, is also the victim of the big reset at DC. It’s the first movie to be released since James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the superhero universe and set it on a brand new direction. Though the producers have been careful not to absolutely rule out the return of any established DC hero (save for Henry Cavill as Superman), fans can see the writing on the wall.
“DC sequels have seen diminishing returns in recent years,” Robbins says. “That’s compounded by the current creative shakeup, whose impact won’t be felt for a couple of years [but] makes the broader franchise feel even more fragmented to audiences for the time being.”
At one point, comic book tentpoles were untouchable at the box office. But “Shazam 2,” as well as Disney’s poorly received Marvel sequel “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” are beginning to reveal cracks, at least when it comes to subpar-rated adventures. “Ant Man 3” impressed with its mighty $106 million opening in February, but it has crumbled in subsequent weeks and will almost certainly end up as the lowest-grossing installment in the trilogy, despite scoring the biggest start. DC’s prior standalone adventure “Black Adam,” led by Dwayne Johnson, also massively disappointed in its theatrical run, grossing $392 million worldwide on its $200 million-plus budget.

My parents and I are looking to get my brother a down sleeping bag for his birthday. He's got an old, absolutely massive and heavy Field and Stream 0 degree sleeping bag that he says has him shivering under 30f.
Looking around online, there seem to be quite a few options. I'd initially gone and looked at the REI Magma 15 as I bought the older Magma 10 model 5-6 years ago and have been happy with that down into the 20s (and a couple times <20f) with no issues, but based on the reviews and general comments their quality has gone downhill and the fill is now insufficient for sub-freezing temps for a lot of people. The price has also increased a fair bit, but with the current sale is close enough to the price target. I've also looked at the Nemo Disco 15, and while there are quite a few positive reviews, I've read some similar complaints about insufficient fill under freezing, as well as cold spots where the two vent zippers are. The Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass 0 could be an option (and is Outdoor Gear Lab’s winter sleeping bag budget pick), but it's a bit on the heavier side.
For his uses, he will be most-often car camping, but with a smaller bag would like to go backpacking, dirt-bike camping, and rafting (I'm trying to talk him into a self-support kayaking trip at some point as well). Realistically, temperatures down to 20f in our area, very occasionally dipping into the teens during spring/fall, particularly in the mountains. He's expressed a desire to go winter camping, but I'd probably just recommend layering a quilt over top of the bag if we end up doing that.

Criteria:
- Sleeping Bag. Not a quilt. I see that many people like quilts, but he's not sold on the idea. Non-negotiable.
- Under $300 (there are some sales ongoing that can bring some higher-priced items under that, such as with REI or Moosejaw's 20% off). If there's an option that checks all the boxes and is slightly over, it could be a consideration.
- Truly comfortable down to ideally 10f, but 20f of comfort would probably be sufficient (yes, with a decent r-value sleeping pad).
- Ideally as close to 2lbs as possible. This is the checkbox that seems to be YEETing the pricing through the stratosphere. Realistically, this isn't quite as high on his priority list (an extra pound won't kill him) given the bag he'll be coming from, but as I was able to find this in a relatively budget sleeping bag (Magma 10 for ~$250 on sale a few years ago), I was hoping to get close to that for him as well.

I remember the experience clearly, beyond just memories it seems like it stayed with me in a psychological level. The haunting details have been engraved deep into my subconscious, and I wish for nothing more than a release from their torment. I'm an educated guy, and I know how it sounds, but it's important you know I'm not insane; aside from run-of-the-mill 20-something teacher burnout with a side of anxiety, I don't have the slightest history of mental illness. I write this now not only as an account of my experience here in West Virginia but also as a warning to anyone who finds themselves unfortunate enough to pass by those woods. I write this also as my final word to my wife, my friends, and my family because I cannot go on living with the constant evocation of terror when the sun fades away. The thought of walking through my day-to-day life with even an inkling of the possibility that someone or something followed me out of that place fills me with dread; it's hard to stomach food and nearly impossible to find enough sanity to drift into sleep for even a moment. I sit now in a vacant room. I'm in a decrepit old motel off of Highway 219, and I can hear things and see things lurking just beyond the parking lot through the hours of the night. The worst part now is that I'm completely unable to decipher wether or not what I'm seeing is reality or a manifestation of my recently developed trepidation. I'm sick now, and my mother has tried to contact me so often that sometimes my phone dies at night when I ignore the constant waterfall of phone calls. She must think I'm dead because I haven't returned one of her calls in quite some time now.
I'm a teacher by trade. I'm not your run-of-the-mill teacher either; I'm a private instructor. Usually the state, or some charity hires me to take on the monumental tasks of spending a semester teaching vastly undereducated kids. Most of the kids I teach can't even read, and they're often poor and disconnected from society; my most common contracts are in far-off towns or hamlets in the middle of whatever the area considers "the boondocks." I've had contracts in the middle of Louisiana's swamps, in mountain communities in Tennessee, and I've even been flown outside of the country to remote tribes just to teach kids how to read and write. Not to lay down a humble brag or anything, but the contracts usually paid really good money compared to your run of the mill teacher's salary, as they were usually funded by someone with a blank check and a mission to put themselves in the limelight for being a philanthropist willing to save the world from the plague of illiteracy. I've always had somewhat of a passion for my job; I got to design my own lesson plans and actually teach these kids something instead of reciting the monotone scripture pasted into an 80-dollar book. My point being, I don't think I've ever directly turned down a contract, and the one that landed me in my current situation wasn't any different.
I was sitting at my desk, rifling through the mountains worth of gigs that so often flooded my emails, scrutinizing the payout on each and every job addressed to me. I would often do this until my eyes grew dry and heavy in an attempt to find the perfect job to take for a semester, but on this rare occasion, just about a fourth of the way into the sea of digital letters, one specific sender jumped out at me. "The Fairhaven Community Church": I had up to this point never received an arrangement from a church, but what left me even more perplexed was not only its direct nature but the exorbitant compensation and contract length. The subject line read, "Private Tutor Needed for 5 Years at 100 Thousand Dollars a Year." I was floored by this statement and immediately wiped my watering eyes for clarity; the offer was too good to be true, and my skeptical nature caused me to audibly scoff when I read it again. I opted to dig further into the inquiry, and I was immediately greeted with a well-written, however poorly formatted, email detailing the needs of the small church community. I had to read the email three times over in order to decode the strange syntax, I came to the conclusion that the church was frequently taking on less fortunate families from around the state and wanted to not only help them and teach the word of God but also wanted to teach the families to read and write at a higher level to allow them to continue their studies. The church had a 5-year plan to rapidly educate a vast amount of families that would come in and out of the church through out the Time in wich the teacher was present.
The job posting brought forth quite a few red flags but the thing that gave me an uneasy feeling was the list of rules posted at the bottom of the email.
"The educator must use official church material to teach the present families"
"The educator is not to leave the premises of the Fairhaven Community"
"The educator must not under any circumstance enter any restricted areas of the Fairhaven Community "
"The educator must not corespond with any media or anyone who may spread word of the project before, during or after their time in fairhaven"
While I admired their aprehension to the press atention unlike most of my other clients who would demand interview after interview so that they would be viewed by the public as a hero crusading against the evil of ignorance and i could also see why the congregation wouldnt want some stranger from the city to poke around their sanctum.i'm not closed minded by any means but the thought of not even being able to leave the property seemed strange to me. Granted in the past when I made my trip to the Congo I was told not to leave the protected area I was in but that wasn't a rule as much as it was a guidline for my own safety. The biggest turn off concerning the listing was the fact that I could only use "official church material", as I mentioned before I enjoy being able to structure the lessons how I please and teach in the way I feel best suits my students interests and learning profile but I couldn't help be further swayed to take the job by the thought of being paid 500 thousand dollars for 5 years of work in a place that would handle my cost of living during the whole excursion. I'm writing all this as a poor attempt at justifying my own poor decisions. Even going back over what I've written I can feel my stumach turn while I read the blatantly obvious signs of danger.
The trip to West Virginia was, for the most part, uneventful and mind-numbing. I've always despised long car rides, despite being on the road so often when going from job to job. After an extended period on the road, my mind spins into an unconscious void and it becomes hard to determine where I've been. There are often times when I completely lose myself in the sea of vehicles in a never-ending stop and go only to find myself becoming aware an hour later. What little entertainment I had on hand usually prevented me from falling asleep or completely disconnecting from the human world on my thousandth 14-hour trip to the middle of nowhere. This trip, however, was different; I didn't find myself dissociating, nor did it feel like the run of the mill from point a to point b. I was nervous and the further I made in to my destination the more I felt as if I had made a grave mistake. Despite being a 28-year-old teacher with very little adult social skills, I couldn't help but feel that a 5-year contract with some pseudo-cult in the heart of West Virginia might have been a bit of an impulsive call even with the paycheck, and every time I thought of cryptic emails, I could feel my stomach constrict and knot at the very premise of meeting the strangers in person.
I found myself in one of my few "coming to reality" moments of the trip when I turned into a small town. I was surprised by the smell I was immediately greeted with; the distinct smell of mildew assaulted my senses at the very moment I passed a pale green and mildly vandalized billboard posted on the side of the road that read "Welcome to Dawson," scrawled in a cheesey font that made all the letters look like logs. The town itself was placed in a valley of some sort, almost completely enveloped by mountains on three sides, as if Mother Nature had left this perfect little alcove in the center just for this hidden civilization. On top of the distant, albeit ever-present, ranges sat hundreds of thousands of trees that wrapped the elevation in a verdant cocoon. The town itself was small compared to Tampa, as all the others were. There weren't any towers climbing towards the sky with an impossible number of floors; the pavement of the underutilized roads was a soft gray color, void of any fresh pavement, but the surface was laid bare of any faults as if it had been used, if only just enough to keep the earth from forcing its way back through the laid concrete. As I pulled up to what I can only imagine was the only stoplight in the town, my hands fumbled for my phone in order to check the status of my journey. 1 minute to destination was plastered at the top of the screen, leaving me in a state of confusion as the only things in sight seemed to be a few stores and what looked to be a small cafe on a road that stretched toward the horizon with no apparent end. The light turned green, and my GPS sent me to an immediate left to a small, run-down store just off the entrance that brought me into the mountain asylum. The store was decrepit; the paint was peeling from its decorative siding, creating a splotchy pattern of dingy blue and an aging off white. One of the large windows looking into the store had a sheet of wood crudely nailed over it, and an awning stretched from the end of the parking lot directly to the roof of the gas station as if whatever contractors built this were trying to deplorably hide the abomination from God himself. The store had no sign or title other than an LED fixture that indicated that the nameless fuel depot was open.
"You have arrived at your destination," the droning voice said through the speakers of my car as I came to a reluctant stop. I looked down at my phone to be certain the GPS wasn't struggling to find a pathway yet to be discovered by anyone except for those who had lived there their whole lives, but according to the directions, this was indeed my "intended" destination. Immediately checking my surroundings, I took note of the road that carved its way through the center of the poor excuse for a town ahead of me, sparsely decorated with various local stores and venues. According to my map the road didn't break off from this central strip for another 5 miles.
I buried my head in my hands after begrudgingly throwing my car into park and let out an exasperated sigh. I frantically flipped through the emails I had passed back and forth to my usual benefactor to find any messages concerning the exact location of my job site aside from the address I had been given.
"A fucking gas station, they gave me the address of a fucking gas station" I groaned as I came apon an email that had been sent...5 minutes ago. The subject line read "Apon Arival."
"When you arrive in Dawson, be sure to contact me at the number posted below so I may provide additional instruction on how to safely make it to Fairhaven. "Zion can be dangerous."

Web-like cracks formed on the yellowing stone as if the walls themselves were trying to escape from the neglected mess, the white panels on the ceiling were rife with black and brown spots indicating frequent leaks and water damage, and the smell was ungodly. I would have gone insane if I was forced to work in a room that had that pestilential smell glued to it. The shelves laid not quite bear but with just enough product on them that for the place to still be listed as a buisness that caused the aluminum casings to bend downward like they where struggling to hold the weight of a finite amount of light snacks.

"I can help you," he mumbled with a thick draw that I would have not understood if I hadn't met plenty of people of his likeness prior.

I contemplated for quite some time before reaching back for my phone to examine the cryptic message that overtook my screen. The dial tone chimed for longer than expected, and right before the all-too-common voice mailbox message played, I heard a barely audible click before a voice came over the phone.

"I think you might have given me the wrong address; I'm at a gas station just off the entrance to Dawson."

"The address we provided was correct; there are no pathways to Fairhaven, and we have attempted to remain secretive as to avoid the judgment of the individuals that may regard us as an unsavory commune." "If you follow this path by foot, we will see to it that a member of the congregation greets you so that you can arrive safely."
I looked back towards the blue Honda Accord I had arrived in and argued, "All of my equipment is in my vehicle—my notes and laptop, my clothes, and I'm certainly not equipped to be hiking in dress shoes." I.."
The hoarse growl of the man rather shot back with an audatory shot of aggressive air: "We will see to it that your things arrive at the Fairhaven Community." I implore you to make your way onto the trail before nightfall. "The forest can be very dangerous without the sanctum of sunlight."

I gripped My phone white-knuckled at the accuracy of his statement. His perception of me was correct because I was not only terrified of the situation but also beyond frustrated at the thought of taking a hike up a mountain directly after a 14-hour trip with nothing but a 2-hour rest in a motel at the halfway mark.
"Guess I'll be there soon," I said, despite my mind showering him with a barrage of heinous insults. He hung up the phone without saying another word.

The slope that the natural alleyway was built on very quickly turned from a steady incline to a steep, near-vertical hill void of foothold, and I had to rely on my softened hands, which grasped desperately at the closest trees. It didn't take long for my feet to ache and burn. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've never been an outdoorsman. I was often poked fun at by the locals for being a city dweller when I gave a common toad a look of disgust, so it could automatically be assumed that I'm hardly the hiking type either.

Nightfall was coming, and in the state I was in, I had no hope of making my way to the destination in the next 6 hours, let alone before nightfall. I closed my eyes tight and buried my head into my blistered hands, I could feel my brisk beating heart in my palms when the deafening roar of an engine rocketed my senses into overdrive. My head shot upward toward the golden beams of light, obscuring their source entirely.
"What in God's name is a fella like you doing way out here?" The voice wasn't the same as the man I had spoken to on the phone. It was just as old and eroded, but it held much more of the thick twang of a local.

I was in no position to argue, so I clasped my hands on a low-hanging branch and lifted myself upright before closing in on what seemed to be a crude attempt at an ATV. On top of the buggy was a middle-aged man with salt and pepper hair and an ice white goatee. He was draped in a flannel shirt and blue jeans that have seen their share of hard times. He wore glasses that fell to the tip of his nose in order to examine me further as I approached. I boarded my saviors vessel and caught a whiff of what I knew to be the pungent odor of illicit alcohol. This man wasn't what I expected from the conversations I had prior with the eccentric leader of the religious movement, but the thought was pushed to the back of my mind as the contraption immediately spun its tires against the leaves and dirt of the forest floor, kicking back a blast of woodland scrap backward as it twisted one hundred and eighty degrees to face parrallel with the pathway that I thought to be my demise, only to scream up the hillside with unexpected force.

I'm a teacher by trade. I'm not your run-of-the-mill teacher either; I'm a private instructor. Usually the state, or some charity hires me to take on the monumental tasks of spending a semester teaching vastly undereducated kids. Most of the kids I teach can't even read, and they're often poor and disconnected from society; my most common contracts are in far-off towns or hamlets in the middle of whatever the area considers "the boondocks." I've had contracts in the middle of Louisiana's swamps, in mountain communities in Tennessee, and I've even been flown outside of the country to remote tribes just to teach kids how to read and write. I was floored by this statement and immediately wiped my watering eyes for clarity; the offer was too good to be true, and my skeptical nature caused me to audibly scoff when I read it again. I opted to dig further into the inquiry, and I was immediately greeted with a well-written, however poorly formatted, email detailing the needs of the small church community. I had to read the email three times over in order to decode the strange syntax, I came to the conclusion that the church was frequently taking on less fortunate families from around the state and wanted to not only help them and teach the word of God but also wanted to teach the families to read and write at a higher level to allow them to continue their studies. The church had a 5-year plan to rapidly educate a vast amount of families that would come in and out of the church through out the Time in wich the teacher was present.
The job posting brought forth quite a few red flags but the thing that gave me an uneasy feeling was the list of rules posted at the bottom of the email.

While I admired their aprehension to the press atention unlike most of my other clients who would demand interview after interview so that they would be viewed by the public as a hero crusading against the evil of ignorance and i could also see why the congregation wouldnt want some stranger from the city to poke around their sanctum.i'm not closed minded by any means but the thought of not even being able to leave the property seemed strange to me. Granted in the past when I made my trip to the Congo I was told not to leave the protected area I was in but that wasn't a rule as much as it was a guidline for my own safety. As I pulled up to what I can only imagine was the only stoplight in the town, my hands fumbled for my phone in order to check the status of my journey. 1 minute to destination was plastered at the top of the screen, leaving me in a state of confusion as the only things in sight seemed to be a few stores and what looked to be a small cafe on a road that stretched toward the horizon with no apparent end. The light turned green, and my GPS sent me to an immediate left to a small, run-down store just off the entrance that brought me into the mountain asylum. The store was decrepit; the paint was peeling from its decorative siding, creating a splotchy pattern of dingy blue and an aging off white. One of the large windows looking into the store had a sheet of wood crudely nailed over it, and an awning stretched from the end of the parking lot directly to the roof of the gas station as if whatever contractors built this were trying to deplorably hide the abomination from God himself. This new boss can only be summonsed by using red sand blocks in a 2 blocks high, 3 blocks wide, 1 block long placement. You will also need a crimson skeleton skull which is a new item that can be a rare and random find in the new suspicious sand in desert temples and desert wells.
Once summoned, a health-bar will pop up and the boss will rush towards to player and attack them. The boss also carries a large crimson crossbow which it uses against the player and also drops it on death.

What I mean is...rank only the Ghostfaces from each movie as if they were their own entity (as the filmmakers claim). Don't factor in who was under the mask in any scene, or who the killers are out of costume. Just strictly the Ghostface character from each movie.
IMO, it goes like this:
Scream 6: A ruthlessly brutal Ghostface, and the aged masks were awesome.
Scream 2: Another ruthless Ghostface, creative kills, took out two cops alone, and the cop car scene was peak Scream brilliance.
Scream 4: A brutal Ghostface, also incredibly fast, and also took out two cops alone (granted these cops were goofy, but still)
Scream 1: OG Ghostface. The Casey/Steve kills are still arguably the most brutal/intense in the entire series, and still arguably has the most menacing phone calls of all GF's. This GF did have a low body count though, and left a lot of people alive.
Scream 5: Had some good phone calls, and some creative kills, but no chase scenes brings this Ghostface down a lot, IMO.

Hi, just got myself the HD version the other week. Had BIG issues with wifi dropping, connecting, dropping. I also casting from Airflow on pc was painful/impossible bc of drops in wifi.
I googled the issue and did some fixes, i.e forced it to only connect to the 2,4 ghz wifi, and changed the cable outlet for a different one.
Yesterday streaming both via the dongle and from PC worked flawlessly, but I still wonder if there is something fundamentally wrong with my gadget. I (20f) have been with my husband (25m) for a year and a half, married for one month. Long story short, my husband battled with his ex wife over the custody of their two daughters E (6) and A (3). He and I also have a daughter together (6m). Last December, my husband got full custody and the ex wife has not been in their lives since mid January after saying that she wants nothing to do with them and will never contact them again. But that’s a story for another day. Since the beginning of my pregnancy, I’ve done basically nothing but be a SAHM/SAHW. I had a difficult pregnancy that didn’t allow me to do much and I’ve been wanting to get as much time with my baby as I can before I’m really forced to work. Plus, my husbands work schedule doesn’t really give me too many options. That being said, I spend pretty much all of my time at home with kids making food, cleaning, driving people around, teaching, disciplining, you know the sorts. You’d think all of this would make me an important part of a family, right? Apparently not. All I ask for from my husband and his daughters is to clean up the trash that they make. That’s it and I can’t even have that. I’ll give it to my husband, he does the laundry and some dishes, but I take care of the household 24/7 and I rarely ever see the light of day unless it’s pick up or drop off to school and/or work. E has recently said that I’m a maid and she constantly talks about how I’m not her mom or parent. I expected some bit of backlash from them because of the situation, but i feel like it’s been quite a while to where I should have some kind of respect. And my husband doesn’t help all that much. He allows them to think I’m a maid at this point and rarely corrects them when they’re rude to me. About a week ago, I decided I’m no longer doing anything for them. I’m not doing pick ups or drop offs. I’m not cleaning unless it has to do with me or the baby. I’m not playing into the entertainment of them. My husband and I aren’t labeled as a couple as of right now. I just want change and to feel like I matter. I’m going through PPD, depression, anxiety… really hard right now. Maybe that’s just making my irritation higher? But I do feel like I’m reasonable. My husband recently took this to one of his Facebook groups and most of the men on there talked about how I was a bad mother and wife and it’s gotten into my head that I might be expecting too much from everybody. So AITA?

The main goal of this guide is to give information to new people who want to shoot film. Moreover, to introduce more individuals to this hobby. In order to address some of the challenges that beginner film photographers in Pakistan encounter, I made the decision to write this guide.
This Guide covers many things:
1st. is to send it to Lahore Nisbet road there are 2 labs there. AB Color Lab. And Classic Digital Printing
Both labs develop film ( I Recently got one of my roll developed from AB lab)
2nd method is you buy the developer C41 E6 ( in case of B/W film you can even make your own developer at home) and Develop the Film at home (this opens a a lot of control over your film development.
again there are several ways to do it the most simplest of all is to just use your phone install Film box app and just follow their guide to scan them (the scans are not the best very bad scans)
2nd you can ask the LAB to scan your film for you. (Costly)
3rd if you have a DSLR or a Mirrorless Camera You can use a macro lens to scan the Negatives and process them in Lightroom. (very good scans if done properly)
The process is pretty straight forward in this case. you can get a 600 series or SX 70 series Polaroid camera. and Order 600 series or sx 70 film from Aliexpress. pop in the cartridge in the camera and start shooting. Although the polaroid film for us Pakistanis is very expensive as it costs like 7k per 8 photos.

What is Film Photography?Film Photography is an Old style photography where we use Film reels to shoot photos, This is an analog method of shooting photos. It basically ended in Pakistan with the introduction of Digital Photography.
Now First thing First you need a camera. where to find one?Fortunately Film cameras in Pakistan are quite cheap. you can get them for as cheap as 300 rs (Point and shoot 35mm ones) to 5k or 10k for bigger SLRs and with lenses and everything (I personally got my camera that i shoot with (This one) a Minolta SRT 101b with MD rokkor f1.4) for 2500 rs off olx. You can find cameras like these easily. Their prices shouldn't be too high its not worth paying anything more than 10k for a film camera. Honestly if you want new old cameras (yes boxed old cameras) they will be expensive as their vintage value but you can get them from this shop OLD CAMERA WORLD it is in Lahore and the owner is an old man who used to be a collector. 120 mm cameras are also easy to find they are relatively expensive compared to 35mm ones but not that expensive. its easy to get your hands on a TLR or 120mm SLR.
So you got a camera? Now Where to find Film? or as most of us call it Reel.You can find Film from various sources my main go is the Lahore Nisbet road you can find film there but it will be expired film so you will have to be patient with it and learn to shoot it properly and store it properly. The Expired Solaris that i shot costs 800rs per film and Fuji color costs also the same. you can get the film from them (please be mindful not to hoard film since its not abundantly available in Pakistan) If you want new film you can easily import from overseas it costs a bit high but its totally worth it for the results. You can also get film from Aliexpress its expensive again but you can get new film from there. (It would be cool if someone started to import film to sell here)
So you got the camera and film and you shot it too? now comes the main difficult part. How and where to get them Developed?There are 2 ways to get them developed.

We were friends/coworkers for 3 years before dating. Both of our previous marriages ended last year and he started pursuing me romantically. We spent a lot of time together, went on getaways, he practically lived with me for 2 months. Almost all of it, he initiated.
I started asking for more of my love language. I asked for more affection (he wasn't touchy), words of affirmation, compliments and consideration like telling me if he made other plans so I don't get disappointed when he cancels on me last minute. I criticized instead of recognized his love language: time and service and how much he tried to make me happy. This caused him to pull away about 3 months ago. He said he tried, it wasn't fun anymore and it's hard to sustain how much he used to give our relationship. He pulled back so hard. He stopped sleeping over, stopped going on lunch dates, stopped even just coming to my place to hang out. We still talked on the phone for hours but we hardly spent any physical time together outside of work (we don't really see each other there much either). We've been intimate 4x in 3 months. I joked that I felt like we were in a long distance relationship.
The sudden decrease triggered anxiety in me that just got worse as he kept distancing himself. I tried to ask him for explanations. He said he still loves me the same as before but couldn't give a reason why he pulled away so much so fast. I felt like I was punished for sharing feelings and telling him my needs. I told him that what was happening is making me insecure in our relationship. I got no response any time I tried to talk, instead the distancing got worse. He told me if I kept pushing, he'd shut down but I didn't listen. I let my emotions get to me and spiraled almost 2 weeks ago. I kept pushing why he doesn't want sleepover until he lost control and got angry. I've never heard him mad until then. He finally said: "Just give me space!"
I called him a couple of days later and asked if we're ok, clarify what space means, how long, if he wants me to stop contacting him and if he wants to end things. His answers were: idk. Just let me be. Idk how long. I answered your call, didn't I? And he doesn't know if he wants to break up. Last week, I told him I love him, I'll be here but he has to make a conscious effort to come back.
We've talked on the phone about 3x since I told him that, we've texted some and went on 1 lunch date (the 1st in months). It's been light and shallow conversations but I've initiated each time. Hes distant and withdrawn but he doesn't deny me. He still won't commit to future plans. We had a previously planned a trip at the end of next month but that's now tentative.
I wish I knew about Attachment Theory sooner. I would have approached things differently. I've apologized for how I pressured him instead of listening when he shared his needs.
He knows my non-negotiables: abuse, cheating and if you don't want to be with me anymore, just be honest and tell me. I will accept it. I won't beg or force myself on anyone.
