Ultra custom night

Hello all,
It feels like I tried just about everything to fix the issue with games crashing on my PC. Everything else runs just fine. I've tried watching countless Youtube videos and reddit posts. But now, I feel like I should post my unique situation and maybe someone can help. Let me give a quick yet long rundown of what I'm seeing and maybe someone out there might be able to help.
About a month ago I decided to build another PC, previously my other PC had no issues whatsoever. My new build includes:
i9-13900k intel processor
NZXT Z790 Motherboard
NZXT Kraken X Water Cooler
Multiple NZXT RGB Fans F120's
NZXT C1000 Gold Power Supply (1000W)
4070ti ASUS GPU
2x16gb Vengeance RAM Corsair DDR5
Windows 11 Home
I've installed all drivers and whatnot to the GPU (through Geforce Experience App and customer service had me manually install drivers; no go) and the motherboard. Also, fresh OS install with windows 11 home.
When I first cranked it up, I downloaded Warzone 2. That's where I noticed a DirectX game_ship.exe crash. I thought it was the game itself until I tried loading up Dota 2 yesterday. While Warzone 2 crashes at the main menu, Dota crashes in random spots. But typically I don't make it past the first 5-10 minutes before it crashes.
I had a 1070 GTX on hand that I swapped out (I know this GPU is good) and it still had the same error. So I've ruled out a GPU issue. I was even in a live chat with NVIDIA customer support for quite sometime last night and they have me follow a lot of steps that didn't work. So I moved towards the RAM because I noticed the RAM I had purchased, wasn't on the supported list of the manufacturers QVL list mobo compatibility. Well I just bought some new RAM that IS on the Mobo's compatibility list and it didn't work either.
What is going on? Does anyone have suggestions. Thanks in advance

Yesterday, while deplaning in Atlanta, a passenger did not control pulling out a suitcase from the overhead bin. As I had my back to him while facing my seat (we were all queuing up in the aisle in a long waiting line to get off the plane from an international arrival), the hit blindsided me right into my neck and shoulder, where I already have pre-existing injuries from my time in service. I am in a fair amount of pain this morning. I know it’s not the airline’s or FA’s fault, and it was an innocent (“careless” is probably a better description) mistake on the part of my fellow passenger, but I tend to downplay my options in these situations and wondered if anyone has good advice for what to do? Fwiw, there was no time to approach any officials or file any kind of complaint while rushing to make my domestic connection in the ATL last night. I’d be particularly grateful to hear from any Delta employees on this thread. Thanks y’all! (Also 2-word pro tip lesson learned after the 75 minute ordeal that was ATL Customs last night: “GLOBAL ENTRY!”)

Had my last long run, which was 50k, before my 1st 50 miler in 4 weeks. I signed up for a race to practice race day strategy and have some company.
Overall, it went well. I had my hydration pack ready the night before, skipping the bladder since there were plenty of aid stations, and going with just soft flask. Gels, 1 granola and 1 Larar bar, and Gatorade Endurance powder in small bags to refill the flasks, plus a bag to leave at start/finish since it passed it 1/2 through. I prepared some rice balls and mashed potatoes and had them in zip lock bags since I like alternating gels with starchy carbs every 30 mins. Well first issue was about 30 minutes after leaving home I realized I left my rice/Potatoe in the refrigerator. I was annoyed at first but then just said it was a minor issue and part of ultras are dealing with the unexpected.
The course was nice since it had slight higher evaluation gain per mile than my 50 miler. I think my pace at the start could have been just a tad slower and walked hills a little sooner, it was difficult to gage since there were just tons of small hills that added up instead of some bigger climbs.
It got pretty warm, mid 80s and one of the hotter runs so far this spring (live in NH, raced in ME). I believe I got behind in my hydration a bit and should have drank more sooner. I did have about 4 liters of gatorade/tailwind and 1 liter of H2O but I think I waited too long since I did pee twice but the 2nd time was darker than typical. I think I did fine with calories between what I got from the Gatorade, gels, bars and aid station snacks, which I grabbed the chips, crackers and other non-sweets.
I finished in 6:40ish which I'm good with, the intent was a training. I feel pretty good today, did a real ez 1 hour recovery.
Lessons learned are pack early the day before to chill at night, start slower than I think I need to, hydrate more sooner and just make a simple check list to make sure I bring everything I need - drop bag, shoes, hydration pack and food from fridge!

Hi ultralight! I'm Josh, though on trail I go by Cheese Curd. I've gotten permission from the mods to share my new gear company, Acromoda, with you all.
Acromoda was first started last fall by my friend Eric (trail name: Great Value) and me. We met on the AT and hiked about half the trail together (class of '21). Both of us had ideas for how we might improve current offerings. We also wanted work that let us stay connected with the hiking community. We spent fall and winter planning, improving our sewing skills, and iterating through product designs. Eric ended up leaving in February to pursue other opportunities, but I've continued working on Acromoda and launched our website at the end of March.
Right now Acromoda has 2 products:
- The CurdSack is a 2L fanny pack designed for day hikes and backpacking. It can be worn on its own or the hipbelt strap can be left at home and it can attach directly to your backpack's hipbelt. It also has shock cord on the front designed to hold a lightweight puffy or rain jacket for a day hike.
- The Crescenza 35 is a frameless 35L bag made primarily of EPX200. It features a darted front ultra stretch pocket, which gives it volume comparable to one made of Lycra. It also has asymmetric side pockets - the left pocket is designed to be large enough to fit most UL shelters. This means if it's raining, you can pitch your shelter and wait to open up your bag until you're inside your tarp/tent. These bags are currently made to order, so I can do exact torso sizing.
Both of these products can be printed however you'd like. I currently have one print option shown for the Crescenza and a few listed for the CurdSack. However, if you want to provide your own print/set of colors, email, text, or call me and I can make it happen.
I just graduated college 2 weeks ago and am now working full-time trying to grow Acromoda. As of now, everything is sewn in my bedroom in southwestern Wisconsin. My goal is to make gear that's lightweight, super-durable, and beautiful. I hope to eventually make tools that let people customize how their gear looks in the browser. I want people to be able to design gear that'll last a really long time and is personalized in a way that's meaningful to them.

Last night had a situation where over the course of a few weeks, a server at our place gave a creep to much information. Sometimes innocent chit-chat can get you in a jamb. Example, customer comes in talking about their car. Server being polite enters into chit-chat about their own car, disclosing make, model and color. Last night she shared that one of her tires had a broken belt and she was running the donut until her day off. These creeps are good at drawing information out of people without the person even realizing what is going on. Back to the story, the server had a flat tire at the end of the night, and coincidently the helpful creep was in the right place at the right time to help. I waved the creep off and gave her a ride home. This morning I picked her up and when I get there, seen the reason the tire was flat was the valve core was missing from her tire. On the way back from Pep Boys with a new tire to replace the one with the broken belt, we stopped at the PD and filed a report. That creep is also banned from our place.

I am a bit confused by what happened, I was driving the speed limit late at night around 00:30-01:00, I am a taxi driver so I’m very cautious especially when I have clients in the car, as it was a Saturday night, my customers were a bit drunk so I drove a bit slower, I passed through the village and dropped off my customers, I was driving between 25-30mph, I turn around so I can get to the main road, I was driving quite slow as the road was empty and not illuminated very good, I pass the police again and they started following me, I was keeping to the speed limit and they were driving really close to me, tailgating me,I turned left into a side road to go and pick up another customer and they put the lights on so I stopped the car(it was like 200-300m away from my customer), they just pulled over next to me, did not even get out of the car,the policeman who was driving was very intimidating and unfriendly, accusing me of speeding while I was sure that I was following the speed limits and signs as I always do, the other police man asked me about my car, if it is mine, and I explained that it’s a company car on a hire purchase contract, he soon after asked me if I have a driver licence and I gave him my driver licence throughout my car window and he checked it, and said it was all fine, in the meantime my customer walked towards my car and asked the police if it’s okay if he gets in the car, they said yes, gave my driver licence back and just left. I did not have a chance to ask what happened. This was really confusing for me, as they did not even present themselves, did not even get out of the car just pulled next to me and did not even say that I will receive a fine or anything. Should I expect a fine through the mail or this was just a warning?

Hi everyone,
New here but not to biking in the city, and posting on the recommendation of a friend. My bike was stolen in Bed-Stuy last night—it was custom built and fairly distinctive, so I’m hoping against hope it turns up.
It was stolen out of my apartment vestibule on Monroe St. between 3:30 and 11:30pm on Saturday, 5/27. It’s a 44cm burnt orange Soma Saga Disc touring/road bike with 26-inch wheels. It was custom built and features drop bars, a rather tall seatpost with a weathered Brooks saddle, and an attached black trunk rack. At the time it was stolen, it also had silvertone plastic front and back fenders in so-so consition, cork tape on the handlebars, and a dark grey Ortlieb pannier attached containing my Kryptonite U-lock and a beach towel.
A very distinctive feature on this bike: there is a short piece of seatpost pipe attached vertically to the back of the cargo rack (this was for mounting a light so it would be visible despite a fully loaded rack).

Hey, a rustup maintainer here. We've merged a change that alters how rust-toolchain{.toml} files handle toolchain specifications.
In the current release of rustup a toolchain in one of those files can be a named version (1.69), or a custom toolchain (my-stage-2), or a (possibly dated) channel (nightly), or, and this is the point to discuss, the path to the root directory of a toolchain anywhere in the filesystem.
This last point is a problem - unlike the other ways of naming a toolchain, it permits arbitrary code execution : a toolchain file can specify say ./exploit as the path to the toolchain, and then running cargo run in that directory will execute ./exploit/bin/cargo[.exe].
So, the plan is for the next release of rustup to no longer accept those toolchain files. Absolute paths in a toolchain file are still accepted.
If you are someone actively using such relative-path toolchains, please contact us (Discord / Github issues).
The path based support was added to help with fully automated and reproducible setups that are meant to not muck around with the global state of the regular rustup toolchains, but instead manage their own toolchains somewhere else - and we've verified that that use case does not require relative paths.
However walking back any previously released feature has some risk, so I just want to find out if there are people who have started using this unintentional feature.

I always had dry skin on my cheeks and pretty oily skin on my forehead. Since I recently started using adapalen my cheeks are never satisfied, feel tight and look dull. The problem is that heavier moisturizers still break me out. My current workaround is using very light moisturizers and layering 2-4 layers until my skin feels plump. Still after 3 hours I have to repeat because it never seems to be enough. Because of that I power through a whole bottle of moustruizer in 3 weeks. I already deduced that my skin really loves glycerin, but I never seem to manage to lock in the moisture it provides. I also tried slugging at night, but didn't notice much of a difference as most of the petroleum jelly ended on my pillows. Do you have any tips how I can lock in more moisture without clogging my pores or ingredients to look out for? Thank you in advance!

My wife is 20 hours in, and just at a fit of rage last night… She‘a played BOTW, but just in a tizzy on not knowing what to do in TOTK despite the adventure log, the frustrating dialog speed, but biggest grief is control and enemy difficulty. She hasn’t mastered tapping L, or ZL for ultra hand object levelling, manually selecting the power each time, she only has the basic abilities off the starting section and two extra hearts. She can’t figure out throwing, fusing items to arrows, jumping and swinging in the right direction, map direction, shield parrying… or use the dpad to quickly switch weapons/armor. I don’t dare wince, gasp or try to steer her anywhere -aside from twice reminding her of interactions and shrines, the log, and encourage to talk to everyone. This is her game to experience. But she just announced last night she was done. She doesn’t understand what she has to do. She’s basically stuck in hyrule field with every interaction a big struggle. Was the infinite bombs in BOTW maybe something to make combat a bit easier? Or were controls a bit more straightforward? Really wish she could succeed a bit more, but really not having a eureka moment.
I swear she didn’t have this frustration with the last one.

As I get ready to start my day on this wonderful Sunday. I’m heading to work because someone called out to cover a shift. My wife is getting ready for work as well, which is usual because when you run your own small business it’s just as hard finding people to work and she had someone call out too. Anyways on to my story and for the record I’m aware this is too long and only like 1% will read it fully and to you good old VZ maybe one day but this is even beyond you, but you played a big part. So anyways here’s my damn story and my frustrations which overflowed yesterday and to start this story let’s start with some changes and effects. Now I encourage people to ask me questions and for help there is no better feeling than taking care of a customer or employee that is a little lost and being selfless about it. Just for example a customer came in recently that lost her son 3 years ago. She had a voicemail saved and didn’t want to lose it. I assured her that I got her covered. A long time ago before this wonderful age of tech. The solution here was to hook up a mini tape recorder, play the voicemail, and record it on the tape. For all you young pups it’s those square things with brown film running through it. So, I showed her how to email the voicemail and then helped her save it to the cloud. I completed both and played the message, I comforted her knowing as we go through this process, she’s going to get emotional. I didn’t try to sell her anything, my goal was simply for her to know that no matter what happens to her phone or her service that she can hear her son’s voice and she won’t lose it. Now for all you uneducated sales people sometimes it’s not all about making money, but it will result in money. Here is the fact and I guess the moral of the story. While I didn’t make a cent today, I made a feeling for someone. I showed that I cared and took care of them. Now when they go into a store or call customer service for something, and they don’t get treated right or someone somewhere bitches about there cell phone service to this nice lady she is going to mention the nice gentleman and what store he’s at. So, say what you want but that’s a strong lead in my book. Anyways off this exit and back on the road. This employee knows I will help figure out the issues and since we lost our account managers our direct connection to the good Old VZ was cut, that the days of fixing the issues are limited. I had to tell them that are days of going above beyond are ending and there are going to be situations where we just can’t do anything. Mind you this isn’t because it is not possible or that it’s the wrong thing to do. It’s because the person on the other end of the phone these days is comparable to having a toddler come up with a business plan for a fortune 500 company and it work flawlessly. This isn’t the CS reps that have been around and know the system and care about people. This is Jake that has you repeat yourself ten times over while he’s talking to bobby and frank trying to figure out what the hell they are doing. For the record, outsourced names have been withheld because they get to choose it on their first day of work in outsourcing. Man was I nervous from what I came from starting from the bottom as an employee coming from being the go-to manager. I could write a top selling book about these 6 years that formed me. Lmao typing that just let me know how my dad felt when we were laughing as he was moving the Nintendo controller trying to move the person on the screen. I have had a blast and I love the company I work for which is one of the Big 5 cause that’s all that exists these days. The reason was for a phone he had over the warranty of a year, and he wanted it replaced. Now I kindly told this man what to do and how to handle his situation I also said if you want to bash my store because I am doing everything I can to help you please go ahead. I am confident in my ability to provide service. You know because well I haven’t done anything else, and I truly love what I do, and I wouldn’t leave the industry. As I get ready to start my day on this wonderful Sunday. I’m heading to work because someone called out to cover a shift. My wife is getting ready for work as well, which is usual because when you run your own small business it’s just as hard finding people to work and she had someone call out too. I’m not going to sit here and complain and bitch because of the state of the economy it’s just fcked up. Everyone wants to restructure and make things easier and employ people to do things on their own or be simplified by a machine. Here is the reality you have great workers, good workers, ok workers, bad workers and people that just don’t give a shit. Backstory
Over the last few years I've really embraced streaming services typically at the cost of my own media library.
I had hundreds of DVDs that I collected over the years. As home media capabilities became more pragmatic, I moved my dvd collection to a storage array and streamed in my house.
As the kids got older and our devices proliferated - (6 laptops, 4 tablets, 5 TVs, 4 phones) the hassle of maintaining the home media service became too much and I stopped. Prime, netflix and Disney reigned supreme..Nice and easy to use.
The Fuck Up Last night the family sat down to watch something, queue 30 minutes of the usual fighting. Wife remembered we had a film that she hadn't seen. We bought it on Prime for the kids to watch with some friends. We scrolled.
It wasn't there.
We checked that we had bought it. Yep, email receipt still exists.
Film was there, however we had to buy it. Queue argument that I must had rented it. Checked receipt again, nope. Bought it.
Spent 30 minutes trying to get answers on Prime. Fucking useless. Another 20 minutes trying to get through the wonderful "help" system to get to a human. Bounced around 6 times and finally got through to someone on live chat.
That was fun. We got a torrent of poor language about how it was our fault for apparently not watching the film more. Very confused, we asked why this was relevant. No answer. Lots of questions about how is it a newish movie is available on the platform that we purchased isn't available to us...
Bounced to another agent who could write in English (or maybe chatGPT) who gave us a voucher to spend on the film. No answer as to why we'd lost access.
Googling around turns out it's quite common for Prime to remove things. They don't even notify you.

For starters, we should start introducing different license types. I have no problem paying if I know what I'm getting. A 6-month lease for HD. Lifetime for UHD, 3 months for SD...all fine and valid. But most importantly it should not be revoked.
For the likes of Amazon and the content creators, they can see ownership quite clearly and the blockchain would typically reduce the costs associated with running this ledger privately.

So I used to work at taco Bell I got treated like really badly. My mom worked there and said they would talk about me behind my back and were like high school kids. These people were just hostile. And it got worse around the holidays. Which is why I ended up quitting. Okay so at first like I worked part-time. And I noticed there were problems but I only work there like maybe three days a week. So I didn't care. Now the amount of money that I made was like much less than phone sex operating. I make like 2000 not giving a darn about what the men want or anything. I just keep the phone on the line most of the day. I should make about 4 to 500 a week. At the old Taco bell. I made like a thousand. a month. So obviously I only make like half the amount I make and phone sex operating and I feel like phone sucks operating is more of a career for me. Considering if I cared a little bit more I could probably make like 5,000 a month. So I mean I could live very comfortably. I mean plenty of people have careers and make $60,000 a year. And if you think of it phone sex operating it's kind of like that. Because the average earner on night flirt is specifically 47,000 a year. If I was to care a little bit more about my calls because it would last longer my calls usually are one or two three four minutes. On a 70 a minute call. I just get a lot of callers because it's only 70 cents a minute. And you know the men have a bit of that understanding. That I may not care enough about their needs. But there are some things here. That are kind of and some of the things that are kind of beneficial are specifically things like with taco bell. That I am able to like get transportation. Into vegas. Things like that. I could get my own place. But I kind of feel like I could just move to Vegas and get a place there with my phone sex operating job. Cuz I do make about like 2,000 a month. I mean like it doesn't hurt for me to do that just save up. So that's why I'm like I'm not sure if I want to go back. Because the manager there general manager just said I got hired. For one at Taco Bell I remember during the holidays the people who work there specifically were like really aggressive to each other. Like they would yell at customers curse customers out. And where it went downhill for me because during Christmas it didn't actually become a problem I just went in like cleaned the bathroom. I didn't enguge in that behavior. I was the only one who wasn't cursing anyone out actually. And the whole store. But on New Year's Day it was really hectic. And then what happened in that situation was specifically the two co-workers tried to make it more stressful to work. Basically so they were getting aggressive and trying to basically attack me for the fact that they kept the drive-through line so long. Because I had nothing to do with that. I was doing the front at the time. But then they started blaming me for the backup in the Drive-Thru when I wasn't even working the drive-thru. And it had accumulated so much that two problems occurred at once.

One Brandon got put on break even though he was scheduled later than me and had a history of not working when he was there we would sit in the booths and look at his phone. He got away with a lot even calling black people the n word while at work and claiming he was white.... (He's not white he's latino he's just racist and ashamed of his race he won't admit he's Latino despite having a name godinez) He had the nerve to be complaining and disrespecting me for not being able to do two things at once being at cash register and drive thru telling the customers I wasn't good at my job and complaining about me about my job when the reason drive thru was backed up was because he was given a break and I was tired out. So what ended up happening in that situation was I ended up yelling at the general manager. Not because I was angry at the general manager. What was really occurring in that situation was I was upset that the other person had been talking crap about me to the customers. While having had taken his break. And mess everything up. And make me not have to take a break. So for those reasons I was upset at that situation not particularly at the general manager.

So after that point. That all that week things went downhill from there. And I ended up quitting on Friday just real quick. Oh the reason I quit like that. Was because on FridayI just felt like I didn't need to put up with all the crap I had been putting up with. Added to the fact that like because my mom worked there and she was saying that they were just talking crap about me like that. Now I knew like how they actually felt about me. And I didn't like it. Like usually when I work a job where someone doesn't like me. I don't care. Because I don't get to hear what they're saying behind that. Right but in this case I could. And then it made everything very uncomfortable in working with them. So that's why I just kind of felt like quitting was better. And I did feel like it was a distraction to working my other job as a phone sex operator.

The reason I feel that way is because I spent a lot less hours working that type of job. Because I would tire myself out. Working the other job one and not just that. It was during the weekend which is where I mainly make my money. And I also realize I actually have long sleeper syndrome. Which means that I really function better at 10 hours or more of sleep. So if I were to have a job like Taco Bell and phone sex that would be problematic. Because I don't think I would have enough time to work both jobs.

So if I was to actually invest in how to do this right. I would probably make a lot more like if you looked at my listings it's only like one sentence. I really don't care when I make my listings. I really don't care when I'm on the phone. All I do is just make sure that I'm on the phone or have it on where someone can call me for like at least 14 to 16 hours a day. And it makes me a good amount of money where I can actually work and provide for myself. And not really even have to go out of my way. To make money. So I don't have to work hard I don't have to go anywhere to work. These are the benefits. But then there are some benefits to getting a job like Taco Bell like for example. I don't want to disclose to like snap or food benefits that I work as a telephone operator. And I don't have to. As long as I work at Taco Bell I can always put them as the place. That means I get benefits. And don't have to pay for my own food.

Also another aspect to this is specifically like I said because it went downhill after that point. And the way I left. Was generally very I guess negative against the general manager. Like for example my mother hypothesizes that he is angry at me and trying to get back at me. Though he did send me a message saying I was hired. So I don't know. The way I left some people thought that I cursed everybody out and left. That's not what happened.

What actually happened was I specifically posted a video to the work forum that we were on we had to work for them that we all messaged each other in. Basically it was like a crew app. The music video I linked had a curse word in it. And also I started talking about what I did at my job night flirt. So I quit. And then I at one point tried to apply. And then like it took 4 months or so it took a long period and then he finally was like he was saying that I was hired. So I still haven't responded back. I just kind of saw the text and moved along. I don't know should I say something? If I say something what should I say.? Should I say I'm done interested? Should I say I'm interested. To me it seemed like he gave that well maybe he was drunk? Cuz I mean the spelling is kind of off. So that's another thing to consider.

Also I feel like it could be a distraction from my phone sex operating work. Because I do have a situation where it last time when I worked there. If I would not have been told by my mom I'd have never know and probably still work there now. Which is why I feel it's super hostile to try to work there again. But in this town it's probably the only place I'll get a chance to work at. So what do you think I should do?
